Crédit Agricole Assurances helps carers with 18 new projects

A total of 18 new projects are to receive funding in the framework of the Crédit Agricole Assurances sponsorship programme for family carers and volunteers.

For the second consecutive year, Crédit Agricole Assurances put out a national call for funding applications. The aim was to collect funding applications from non-profit bodies in connection with family carers. Promoted by the Crédit Agricole Regional Banks and in the media, the campaign attracted 182 applications, from which 30 were pre-selected.
Chaired by Jérôme Grivet, CEO of Crédit Agricole Assurances (CAA) the Jury, comprising leading figures from the Group and from civil society (Bernard Philippe, Deputy CEO of Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole (FNCA); Denis Marquet, Crédit Agricole S.A. Head of corporate Communications; Brigitte Cachon, CAA Head of Institutional Communication and CSR; Frédérique Boulanger, CAA Head of CSR, Professor Yves Coppens, and Florence Leduc, President of the French National Association of Carers), met on 10 July.
Among the 30 pre-selected applications, 18 were accepted by the Jury and will accordingly receive funding out of the total budget of 300,000 euros allocated to the sponsorship programme. The chosen projects involve themes such as psychological support, training, or respite rest for carers.
With the 17 projects already financed last year, the 2012 edition takes the number of Crédit Agricole Assurances non-profit body partners to 35.
