Crédit Agricole’s corporate social commitment with respect to carbon offset.
The approach allows Crédit Agricole to offset its irreducible CO2 emissions by supporting a Southern Hemisphere project.
Alongside its partner ECOACT, Crédit Agricole consulted staff in order to select the annual carbon offset programme. The Menegalli project in Brazil was selected. Through this project, the Menegalli ceramics factory has not only been able to implement a sustainable business model, but also offer social benefits to its employees and the local population.
