Gérard Depardieu stars in new Crédit Agricole brand image campaign in Ukraine
Following its first sales advertising campaign in the spring under its new name, Crédit Agricole in Ukraine is launching a brand image campaign starring French actor Gérard Depardieu.
The nationwide campaign is designed to strengthen awareness of Crédit
Agricole among the general public and establish its image as a universal
customer-centric bank. It is a component of the strategy of using launch
ambassadors, already successfully tested in Poland. Known also for his links to
the worlds of farming and wine making, Gérard Depardieu is a very popular figure
in Ukraine and is seen as the embodiment of energy and the entrepreneurial
spirit. The choice delivers considerable leverage for standing out in an already
crowded banking marketplace. The baseline has been adapted to local culture: My
bank is Crédit Agricole. It makes sense.
