Encouraging employee involvement
Solidarity is one of Crédit Agricole’s founding values
Many employees at Crédit Agricole S.A. and its subsidiaries volunteer for charity projects. Countless employee-led initiatives have been undertaken within the Group through staff organisations, sponsorship for young graduates from disadvantaged areas, general interest charity projects, and so forth.
To sustain this impetus, Crédit Agricole S.A. set up theSolidairesprogramme to forge links between employees and the organisations supported and followed by Group sponsorship initiatives. The programme seeks answers to the employees’ desire for commitment and to the ever-increasing demands of charity organisations.Solidairespromotes dialogue and facilitates contact between the organisations and would-be volunteers.
All the organisations are listed on a website devoted to the programme. They state their requirements for volunteers and the type of assignments available. Employees can select assignments that match the skills they wish to devote (professional skills, personal know-how, a helping hand, etc.), as well as the time they can devote to helping, whether through a one-off activity or on a regular basis.
