Sustainable development is central to our buildings
Crédit Agricole Immobilier, the Group's skills centre for real estate, manages all property facilities for the Group. As such, Crédit Agricole Immobilier applies sustainable development principles in managing its buildings and in the daily routine of their users.
ISO 14001 certification: processes geared to sustainable development
For Crédit Agricole Immobilier, sustainable development is more than a guideline: it is a driving force that inspires it to envision the model property projects of the future. In recognition of its practices, in 2007 Crédit Agricole Immobilier was awarded ISO 14001 certification for its real estate management and development operations.
Sustainable management of our real estate assets
In developing new Group facilities, Crédit Agricole Immobilier places the priority on buildings that offer environmentally-friendly solutions and that are designed to minimise environmental impact.
It gives precedence to projects with THPE (very high energy efficiency) ratings and HQE® (high environmental quality) certification.
Two model buildings
LCL's new 45,000m² head office in Villejuif and the new building occupied by SILCA, the Group's IT production entity (12,500m²), were built to HQE® certification criteria for:
- construction;
- energy, water and waste management;
- employee comfort and health.
For existing buildings, Crédit Agricole Immobilier seeks to optimise energy efficiency. In these cases, the main concerns are conservation, recycling and choice of materials.
