Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Crédit Agricole's investment banking arm, has financed the renewable energies growth for more than ten years. In 1997 already, it invested in the creation of wind farms, and since its expertise has extended in the financing of projects of solar energy. The financing of the renewable energies is an integral part of the strategy of the project financing business line and Crédit Agricole CIB goes on financing its customers’ development on this sector all around the world. The Spanish company Acciona, which inaugurated in 2010 one of its solar power plants in Majadas, illustrates Crédit Agricole CIB’s will for long-term support to its customers.
