Offering our customers socially responsible investment solutions

At Crédit Agricole, we offer our customers socially responsible investment funds. Our goal: to channel the funds we manage in ways that serve the real economy, help save our planet and achieve social progress.

Socially responsible investing: a strategic priority for Amundi

Crédit Agricole S.A.'s asset management arm was one of the first signatories to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2006, and socially responsible investment (SRI) is a core consideration in Amundi's investment policy.
Amundi is France’s largest asset manager in SRI funds , with €14 billion in SRI assets under management.

In 2009, Amundi Group had €14 billion in SRI assets under management including:

  • €8.81bn in open-ended funds;
  • €4.64bn in the form of dedicated mandates;
  • €455m in SRI employee share ownership plans.

A range of SRI products in all asset classes

Ideam is Amundi's dedicated SRI subsidiary. It manages ethical funds, shared return funds, social entrepreneurship funds and development support funds, and it promotes Amundi's SRI range.
Its product ranges cover all assets classes. They are marketed in France and internationally to institutional investors, foundations and corporations. The range of products offered to retail investors is available from the Crédit Agricole Regional Banks, LCL and from the Private Banking arm.

A unique fund: Amundi AFD AVENIRS DURABLES

Amundi AFD AVENIRS DURABLES, an SRI fund managed by IDEAM, serves as a bridge between savings accumulated by developed countries and financing needs in developing countries. Launched in partnership with Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in 2009, this fund's objective is to offer investors a way to invest prudently while helping developing countries.

Crédit Agricole Assurances: the first bankinsurer to sign the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)

At the beginning of 2010, Crédit Agricole Assurances, the Group's insurance company, became the first bankinsurer to sign the Principles for Responsible Investment.
Through its subsidiaries Predica and Pacifica, Crédit Agricole invests in SRI funds in its financial management operations.
