Encouraging staff involvement
Crédit Agricole encourages staff involvement in social causes and has opted to support its employees' efforts to help society. We support charitable, environmental and cultural initiatives, in France and internationally, by donating money, employee time, premises and through volunteer work and subsidies.
Courte Echelle: leveraging our commitment to society
In March 2008, Crédit Agricole launched Courte Echelle, a programme that is consistent with its mutualist values. Its goal is to encourage and help develop employee initiatives to volunteer for the common good and for charitable, environmental, educational or cultural causes outside the workplace.
Initiatives supported:
- Solidarity: nearly 60% of projects
- Healthcare: nearly 30% of projects
- Cultural programmes: nearly 10% of projects
