  • For the third consecutive year, Crédit Agricole, which is active in the financing of renewable energies and environmental initiatives, is taking a stand at the Salon des Energies Renouvelables trade show, which takes place from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 June 2008 at the Paris Expo showground at Porte de Versailles in Paris.
  • Crédit Agricole reinforces its support to the “Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux (LPO)” (Bird life international french partner), by signing a partnership with the non-profit organization, which especially concerns the “LPO refuges”.
  • To mark World Environment Day on Thursday 5 June, Crédit Agricole, in conjunction with Farre, the Forum for Integrated, Environmentally-Friendly Agriculture (Forum pour une agriculture raisonnée respectueuse de l’environnement), is organising an event called Graines de paysages ("Budding Landscapes"), by distributing of flower seeds and brochures promoting environmental protection in Crédit Agricole S.A. cafeterias.

  • Crédit Agricole, present at the 104th Notaries Convention as a partner for the profession for over seven decades and is the lead bank handling the assets of members of the professions.   • Crédit Agricole S.A. gets an independent and specialized expert in solicited rating, the extra-financial rating agency BMJ Ratings to assess its sustainable performance.
  • The Crédit Agricole S.A’s sustainable development mission takes part to the French Fair Trade Two Weeks, by organizing with the farmers’ associations and Max Havelaar France a meeting between producers from Mali, India, Peru and France.
  • During the French Sustainable Development Week, Crédit Agricole takes part in the four "Dialogue Equation 2008" forums, an educational project jointly organised for business/engineering schools and universities. In-house actions are also organized.

  • Thanks to the “Chez LCL, on croît au Père Noël pour tous les enfants” (At LCL, we believe in Santa Claus for every child) - from 2007 1st of December to 2008 31st of January – operation, LCL gives €66,665 to “Mecenat Chirurgie Cardiaque Enfants du Monde” association, which LCL has been a partner since 2003.
