Crédit Agricole Bank Polska employees step up the pace

The Power Steps initiative, organised by Crédit Agricole Bank Polska (CABP) for its employees, aims to promote active lifestyles and encourage people to walk regularly, while also making donations to a charity organisation. In just two months, 100 people took part in the campaign, running 21,000 kilometres and burning over two million calories. Thanks to their involvement, CABP employees raised some 24,000 zlotys (PLN) for the children at the Pieszyce orphanage in Lower Silesia.

Given the success of this first initiative, Katarzyna Obuchowska, head of strategic initiatives in human resources, is planning to repeat the campaign.

Power Steps is part of the PowerON programme, an in-house initiative by the Crédit Agricole bank responding to employees’ needs to optimise their efficiency at work and at home.

The initiative helps them to acquire knowledge and skills and learn how to manage their energy so as to meet their professional and personal challenges.
