Appointment at Crédit Agricole (Switzerland) SA and Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez

Following the meeting of the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole (Suisse) SA on 10 November 2011 and that of Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez on 15 November 2011, Christophe Gancel, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Private Banking, announces the appointment of:
• Hervé Catala appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Crédit Agricole (Suisse) SA
• Olivier Toussaint appointed Chief Executive Officer of Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez
Hervé Catala joined Banque Indosuez in 1980. After holding a number of positions within the bank’s Large Corporate Clients division in both Paris and the provinces, he became Head of Regional Activities in France in 1994. In 1999, he joined the Private Banking business at Crédit Agricole Indosuez as Director and Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Foncier de Monaco, the principality’s largest bank. In 2007, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole SA, specialising in the Group’s private banking activities in France. Aged 55, Mr Catala holds a master’s degree in public law.
Olivier Toussaint began his career at Banque Indosuez in 1984, where he held a variety of responsibilities within the bank’s corporate banking activities. In 1999, he took on the role of Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Indosuez in Milan. In 2000, he joined Crédit Agricole as head of corporate banking. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Leasing in 2005, before becoming Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring in 2009 following the merger with Eurofactor. Aged 53, Mr Toussaint holds a master’s degree in economics and a post-graduate diploma in banking and finance.
