APPOINTMENT

Jean-Paul Chifflet, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A., has appointed Giampiero Maioli as Country Manager for Crédit Agricole S.A.’s activities in Italy as of 2 April 2012. As Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cariparma Crédit Agricole since 2010, Giampiero Maioli is a member of the Crédit Agricole S.A. Executive Committee. Present in retail banking in Italy via the Cariparma Crédit Agricole group (with the Cariparma, FriulAdria and Carispezia brands), Crédit Agricole is also present in all of its other business lines: investment banking (CACIB) consumer finance (Agos Ducato and FGA Capital), asset management (Amundi), insurance (CA Vita, Crédit Agricole Assicurazioni, Crédit Agricole Crédit Insurance) and leasing and factoring (Crédit Agricole Leasing and Crédit Agricole Commercial Finance).
