CACEIS's securities lending operation wins award
CACEIS has won the award of top ranking lender for the “Overall Asia” zone in Global Investor magazine's “Equity Lending and Synthetic Finance” survey, in which securities borrowers rate lenders. CACEIS scored consistently high across the 16 service categories used to determine the award, especially in the respondents' three most important attributes: breadth of supply, relationship management and market capability. CACEIS is also ranked as a top three lender in the “Overall Worldwide” zone.
The awards are judged purely on independent feedback from global securities borrowers, and for the first year, CACEIS is competing in the survey's major league tables, as determined by trading volume.
Guy Knepper, CACEIS's Head of Securities Lending said, “Having won the “One to Watch - Europe” category award back in 2011, this “Overall Asia” award confirms that we have embarked on the right strategy to extend our product offer beyond the confines of Europe, and gives us important feedback which we can use to further improve our lending offer”.
CACEIS's securities lending service helps clients generate additional earnings on idle assets, and the group's dealing room, with over 25 years' experience, has a vast pool of securities available to lend. Bespoke lending programmes are designed to suit lenders' risk/return requirements, and can be run on either a principal or agency basis, according to client preference. Securities on lend can be sold at any moment. The lending service is also fully integrated with CACEIS's custody and fund administration lines.
