Eric Chevre is appointed Head of International Corporate Coverage reporting directly to Pascal Poupelle, Global Head of Corporate Coverage Group and Deputy General Manager of Calyon.

Eric Chevre has spent his whole career with Calyon. He started in 1981 with Banque de l'Indochine et de Suez as Export Finance officer then from 1985 on as Advisory Banker to major French Corporates.

In 1988, he became co-Head of Equity origination before being appointed CEO of WI Carr and then of Indosuez Capital Securities, based in London.

In 1997, he left London for Singapore to take over the capital markets activity for Asia-Pacific.

He returned to France in 2001, as Head of Coverage of financial institutions - Banks at Crédit Agricole Indosuez and joined the team in charge of coordinating the Crédit Agricole Indosuez/Crédit Lyonnais merger in 2003.

In 2004, Eric Chevre was appointed General Manager of Calyon for Nordic countries in Stockholm.

Aged 50, Eric Chevre is an HEC graduate. His intimate knowledge of the various CIB businesses, combined with his international experience are major assets in his new functions.
