Paris, 23 September 2009 - The Crédit Agricole Mutuel d'Aquitaine and Centre-Loire Regional Banks have announced that they are looking into buying back all of their outstanding cooperative investment certificates (CCIs) and have asked for listing of their CCI certificates to be suspended until a press release is published setting out the terms of the deal.
A further 13 Regional Banks have issued CCIs* out of a total of 39 Crédit Agricole Regional Banks. They state that they do not intend to pursue any similar programmes in the next few years.

* List of Regional Banks issuing CCI certificates: Alpes Provence, Aquitaine, Atlantique Vendée, Brie Picardie, Centre Loire, Ille et Vilaine, Languedoc, Loire Haute Loire, Morbihan, Nord de France, Normandie Seine, Paris et Ile de France, Sud Rhone Alpes, Toulouse, Touraine Poitou.
