UAF Patrimoine awarded Pénélop label

UAF Patrimoine (a Crédit Agricole Assurances Group member) has just been awarded a label for its implementation of the Pénélop agreement, an industry-wide protocol for online exchanges of wealth management transactions, by AGAP, the agreement's managing association. Pénéolop facilitates data exchanges between insurers and independent financial advisors (IFAs).

UAF Patrimoine is committed to delivering relevant new tools and services for its partners. It is one of the first companies to have rolled out since May 2011 the Pénélop protocol, which enables IFAs to access all information relating to their customers' assets in one standardised format. From the outset, UAF Patrimoine has been part of the taskforce set up by the French standardisation agency (AFNOR) and AGAP, the driving force behind this project, composed of insurers, account aggregators and IFA representative organisations.

For Serge Buchaca, chairman of the AGAP and secretary of the French chamber of independent financial advisors: “There is a very strong level of demand among independent financial advisors for automated data exchanges between their own information systems and the insurance companies. I am therefore delighted to confirm UAF Patrimoine’s ongoing commitment in this area. For IFAs, this is a vital challenge as it involves enabling more fluid portfolio management for both customers and agencies”.

“We are particularly pleased to be one of the first companies to be certified for this protocol designed to facilitate exchanges between insurers and IFAs”, explains Eric Morvan, Head of UAF Patrimoine.
