Paris, 6 May 2010 - Véronique Bridier Richard, 57, awarded a diploma in private law, has been appointed Corporate Secretary of Crédit Agricole Assurances Gestion, Informatique et Services (Caagis)*. She will be in charge of Human Resources, Legal Affairs, Management Control, Purchasing, and Change Management.

Véronique Bridier Richard began her career at the Paris bar before working at URSSAF, the social security management agency. In 1988, she joined the SVP group as a welfare legislation consultant before taking over the employee welfare department of Sodexho in 1990. In 1993, she joined Bull group as a senior legal officer in charge of welfare law, moving to BNP Paribas in 1995 to take charge of labour law and trade union relations.

Ms Bridier Richard joined Crédit Agricole in October 2000 as head of social affairs for Fédération Nationale de Crédit Agricole (FNCA). Since September 2007, she has been head of human resources at the Brie Picardie Regional Bank.


* Caagis was formed in 2010 from the merger of GIE Attica's IT teams, back office and support functions, and the Information Systems Division of Predica, a Crédit Agricole Assurance subsidiary.
