Giampiero Maioli began his career in 1979 with Credito Emiliano, followed by Chemical Bank, where he carried out assignments in Italy and abroad. In 1992, he joined Cassa di Risparmio di Parma e Piacenza in Milan as Sales Director. He follows the operations between Cariparma and the Banca Intesa until the birth of the new Cariparma Crédit Agricole group, of which he was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2007 and Managing Director in 2010. He led the integration of Credito Valtellinese and the merger with CA Friuladria, thus realising the "Banca Unica" project of the group renamed Crédit Agricole Italia in 2017.
