Biography 

After starting his career as an auditor at Deloitte and then as a consultant at Peak Marwick, Hervé Varillon held a number of functions over a seven-year period at the markets subsidiaries of the BNP Paribas Group. He joined the Crédit Agricole Group and the leasing business in 2003. He became Financial Director of Crédit Agricole Leasing in 2005 and of Eurofactor in 2009, before being appointed as Director of Finance, IT and Organisation for the leasing and factoring businesses that same year. In 2013, he became Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring in charge of Operations. He was named Deputy CEO in charge of Development in 2015 and Deputy CEO in charge of Operations at Crédit Agricole Ile-de-France in 2016.

A former student of Ecole de Management de Lyon, Hervé Varillon is a chartered accountant graduate.
