Jean-François Abadie joined the Audit department of Banque Indosuez in 1981 and was appointed assistant to the Inspector General in 1987. From 1989 to 1992 he was in charge of corporates in Paris and then became director of Indosuez Carr Futures. In 1995 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Banque Indosuez’s branch in Spain, and the following year became Chief Executive Officer of the subsidiary, Banque Indosuez España S.A. In 1999 Jean-François was posted to London as Chief Operating Officer of Crédit Agricole Indosuez UK. In January 2003 he was appointed Corporate Secretary at Private Banking division. From January 2008 to December 2010 Jean-François Abadie was Head of French and International Private Banking. In December 2010, Jean-François Abadie became Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Luxembourg and Senior Country Officer for the Group in Luxembourg.In October 2015, Jean-François Abadie was named Head of Global Operations at Crédit Agricole CIB.
