Dons Solidaires

Dons Solidaires logo

The Dons Solidaires (“solidarity donations”) organisation is a pioneer in patronage in non-foodstuff products in France. Founded in 2004, it fights against waste and social exclusion. It recovers unsold inventory from partner businesses and redistributes them to charity organisations across France. This new type of patronage proposes an alternative to waste by avoiding the destruction of stocks of new products in perfect condition that can no longer be sold (end-of-line items, seasonal products, and so on) and by enabling disadvantaged people to benefit from them. Crédit Agricole S.A. is committed alongside Dons Solidaires, providing the organisation with financial support that helps it to structure itself and raise awareness on product patronage.

« Because businesses are no longer merely economic agents but players in their communities too, and because 8.6 million people currently live under the poverty line, the work of Dons Solidaires is more vital than ever. »
