Developed by the Charente-Périgord Regional Bank with the assistance of Uni-éditions, the terredesaveurs.com website is a true market place where web users can learn about and purchase directly the finest gastronomy from Périgord and Charente.

A farmer client of Crédit Agricole Charente-Périgord talked about his problems accessing the new economy.

Individually, farmers find it difficult to access the new economy. By themselves, developing a website, selling their products on line and listing their site is an arduous task,” says Laurent Martin, Managing Director of the Charente-Périgord Regional Bank. 

Several months later, the Regional Bank created a site establishing a direct relationship between client’s farmers from the region and consumers. 

The site was launched in March 2018 featuring direct access to the products sold on line, organic product notification, tourist information and videos on the area’s most beautiful villages.

   

 

Better eating and local consumption in just one click

 

The aim of Terre de saveurs is to promote the client producers of the Regional Bank and bring them business through short distribution channels.

Some 200 producers are listed, 61 of them proposing over 300 products for sale. They are listed in the “Terre de saveurs quality charter”, whereby they comply with at least one of the official signs of quality or belong to an entity with a collective approach to the promotion of local products.

A country campaign for the Regional Bank

 

For the official launch of terredesaveurs.com, the Regional Bank ran a plurimedia communication campaign in March with its clients at local and national level. The aim now is to spread the word on the website and attract web users as potential buyers of the produce of client farmers.
