CASA Group news / Crédit Agricole CIB supports Danone's two major bond issues
Crédit Agricole CIB supports Danone's two major bond issues Crédit Agricole CIB acted as Danone's joint bookkeeper for two "Jumbo*" bond issues, worth €6.2 billion and €5.5 billion, respectively. These issues are to replace the acquisition loan Danone signed in July 2016 to finance its acquisition of US company Whitewave, which specialises in plant-based dairy and organic products. CACIB also took part in this transaction. The €6.2 billion issuance is the fourth-largest ever carried out by a company on the Euro market. CACIB thus confirms it top position in French rankings for corporates, as well as its ability to support customers in Euro and Dollar markets for large-scale acquisition refinancing transactions. * Large-scale, multi-tranche transactions are generally described as "Jumbo"
