Crédit Agricole CIB reaffirms its strategy for Japan

Over 500 Japanese customers attended a conference in Tokyo, organised in mid-October by Crédit Agricole CIB.

Isabelle Job-Bazille, Head of Economic Studies for Crédit Agricole S.A., was among the Group's economists who came from Europe and the United States to present their views on the worldwide economic outlook.

CACIB Deputy CEO Régis Monfront stressed how important Japan was to CACIB's expansion, and CACIB's bridging role between this country and the global economy. Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe put in an appearance by video link to present the latest progress in Abenomics*.

* Abenomics is a portmanteau word combining the name Abe and the word Economics. It refers to the economic policies advocated by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe since December 2012.
