Italy and Egypt: International financial institutions trust Crédit Agricole
International Retail Banks Crédit Agricole Italy and Crédit Agricole Egypt (CAE) recently signed agreements worth €200 million with the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Crédit Agricole Italy's €150 million agreement will finance innovating SMEs and ISEs, and CAE signed a $50 million agreement under the EBRD's Trade Facilitation Programme that encourages foreign trade.
Already, last March, Crédit Agricole Ukraine had signed a Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) with the EBRD to facilitate its customers' international trade deals.
Evidence that the Group's local retail banks are support the economic development of their respective countries.
