What do the French make of 'Made in France'?

This was the subject of an IFOP survey for Crédit Agricole and MIF Expo, the Made in France Products & Innovations Show.

This show, sponsored by Crédit Agricole, will be held on November 18-20 at Porte de Versailles, Paris. The responses show that 'made in France' is an important matter for 90% of French people. 94% of them think that buying a product Made in France is a good way to support French businesses, and 93% said that it's a way to keep jobs and preserve expertise.

Visitor numbers at the show reflect French people's enthusiasm for 'Made in France'. They have grown exponentially from 15,000 visitors in 2012 to an expected 55,000 this year. Exhibitor numbers have grown even faster, from 85 in 2012 to 450 in 2016.
