Crédit Agricole Alsace Vosges helps repurpose Reichstett refinery

Crédit Agricole Alsace Vosges is providing 20% of the funding for repurposing the old oil refinery at Reichstett into an 85-hectare manufacturing and logistics park.

The Government, Eurométropole and the Greater East Region are also providing a 20% share. Ademe* and private partners are providing the balance of the loan. The cost of the repurposing is estimated at €30 million. Taking part in such a transaction illustrates the commitment of Crédit Agricole Alsace Vosges for the environment. The project will be extremely complex, with the surface area of 16 football fields to be decontaminated and at least 800 km of pipework to be dismantled.
