This sector policy applies to all Group actions related to the construction, extension, operation and acquisition of air, sea and land transport infrastructure. The transport infrastructure sector plays an important role in opening up regions and helping them develop as well as reducing congestion. However, it can also have negative impacts on the environment (carbon footprint, fragmentation of ecosystems, etc) and human rights (economic and physical displacement of populations), as well as cause disturbances, especially noise notably during construction. Through this policy, the Group intends to specify under which conditions it will act, depending on these issues.
