Plastic pollution: outcomes of the plogging challenge

 

From 28th June to 18th July, Crédit Agricole S. A. organised an international plogging* challenge, open to all Group employees**.
 The challenge proposed to employees involved travelling a maximum of kilometres collecting as much waste as possible in a fight against plastic pollution. Employees were able to track their performance in real time through a dedicated app.

A total of 3,158 waste items were collected, cleaning 1,336 kilometres during the KM for Change challenge by employees in 14 countries.
 
Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring ranked first in terms of km covered, followed by CA Serbia and CACEIS. 

 

 

Thanks to its strong engagement, CA Serbia ranked first in terms of km cleaned weighted by the total number of employees, ahead of CAL&F and CACEIS.

 

 

 

Congratulations to employees from all participating entities for their strong efforts!
 
Thanks to the choice made at each session by the participants, a donation of €45,000 will be shared between two institutions engaged in nature preservation and waste reduction : Fondation pour la Nature et l’Homme and Zero Waste Europe.
