Take Care: fair social protection
Health and personal protection are priority issues in social responsibility for Crédit Agricole S.A. The social protection of employees also contributes to strengthening its policy on attractiveness and staff loyalty internationally. The main issue here is that the Group's 52 operating countries have different local standards on social protection.
The aim of the Take Care programme, the first phase of which was initiated in early 2016, is fair treatment in terms of social protection for all our employees. In the long term the programme will concern nearly 15,000 employees working in retail banking in five countries – Egypt, Morocco, Poland, Serbia and Ukraine. The Group currently offers them death/disability guarantees for their families as well as improved medical coverage and healthcare access. These advances are aimed at establishing a fair positioning relative to local and international standards.
