Top management plays a key role in the dissemination of an ethical culture
The financial reforms introduced by the European Union following the crisis in 2008 harmonised rules with a view to fostering ever higher ethical standards. The aim is to build a solid and secure financial sector supervised by the European Central Bank as part of the Banking Union.
Crédit Agricole's directors and executives play a front-line role in the dissemination and practice of an ethical culture at the Group. They are responsible for issues in compliance, which are becomingly increasingly complex.
The Group Head of Compliance trains directors and executives directly on these subjects. Training was further strengthened in 2015 in line with the Group's commitments. It now includes regulatory news, in response to the growing challenges in terms of compliance and international sanctions.
