Pascal Blanqué has been appointed Chief Investment Officer at Crédit Agricole Asset Management from 1 March 2005. He will also join Crédit Agricole Asset Management's Executive Committee. He replaces Pascal Voisin, who has decided to take his career in another direction.

Pascal Blanqué has been head of the Economics Research Department and Chief Economist of Crédit Agricole since May 2000. Mr Blanqué was previously a strategist with Paribas Asset Management in London (1992-1996) then Deputy Director of the Economics Research Department at Paribas (1997-2000).

Born in 1964 Pascal Blanqué studied at Ecole Normale Supérieure. He is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and holds a doctorate in Finance from Paris Dauphine University.
