APPOINTMENT

Jean-Pierre Trémenbert has been appointed Head of Compliance reporting to Philippe Brassac, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A. The appointment will be effective as of 19 October 2015. He will join the Executive Committee.
Biography
Jean-Pierre Trémenbert spent a large part of his career at Banque Indosuez, became Crédit Agricole Indosuez, where he joined the Risk Management department in 1980 before moving into Budget and Management Control. In 1987, he joined the bond markets department and then the franc-denominated markets division, before being assigned various roles within risk management. In late 1997, he became Head of Market Risk. In 2001, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CPR, and then in 2003 was involved in the merger between Crédit Agricole Indosuez and Crédit Lyonnais’ corporate and investment banking arm. Jean-Pierre Trémenbert joined Crédit Agricole CIB in 2004, where he was successively head of the Financing and Payment division and then the Organisation and Project Management division. He became Chief Administrative Officer of Crédit Agricole CIB in May 2008 before being appointed General Inspector of Crédit Agricole CIB in November 2011.
Aged 59, Jean-Pierre Trémenbert is a graduate of HEC business school and Centre d’Etudes Actuarielles (CEA).
