APPOINTMENTS Crédit Agricole CIB

Crédit Agricole CIB announces the final organisation of its management team as part of the implementation of its strategic plan, which is fully aligned with Crédit Agricole S.A. Group’s strategic plan, “Commitment 2014”, presented today.
On 9 March, as proposed by its chairman Jean-Paul Chifflet, Crédit Agricole CIB’s Board of Directors approved the final organisation of its General Management team, centred around its Chief Executive Officer, Jean-Yves Hocher, and two Deputy Chief Executive Officers, Pierre Cambefort and Francis Canterini. Their activities are from today defined as below:
Pierre Cambefort (46 years), who since September 2010 has been responsible for coverage, investment banking, structured finance, corporate and the international network, will additionally assume responsibility for supervising the Equity Business, with effect from 1 April 2011.
Francis Canterini (63 years), already in charge of support functions since December 2010, will additionally assume responsibility for supervising compliance, cash management and distressed asset management, also with effect from 1 April 2011.
To complete this organisation, Jean-Yves Hocher, CEO of Crédit Agricole CIB, has made further appointments that will come into force on 1 April 2011:

  • Thomas Gadenne, previously CFO of Crédit Agricole CIB, is appointed Head of Fixed Income Markets. He will report directly to Jean-Yves Hocher.
  • Paul de Leusse, Head of Group Strategy for Crédit Agricole S.A. since 2009, becomes CFO of Crédit Agricole CIB. He will report to Francis Canterini.
  • Olivier Toussaint, CEO of Crédit Agricole Leasing from 2005, then CEO of Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring since 2009, is appointed Head of Coverage & Investment Banking. He will report to Pierre Cambefort.
