Jean-Paul Mazoyer has been appointed Head of Group Information Technology at Crédit Agricole S.A

Jean-Paul Mazoyer has been appointed Head of Group Information Technology at Crédit Agricole S.A., reporting to Michel Mathieu, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A., as of 11 March 2013.

Mr Mazoyer, Chief Operating Officer in charge of Support and Development at Amundi since 2007, is replacing Alain Deschênes, who has held the position since 2009 and is leaving Crédit Agricole S.A. to pursue his professional career in his home country of Canada.

“Alain Deschênes has headed up a number of structural projects for the Group since 2009, including the creation of Greenfield, an innovative data centre housing the Crédit Agricole S.A. group’s major IT systems, overseeing the IT aspects of our MUST cost-cutting programme, the development of IT production entity SILCA, and making an active contribution to the implementation of the NICE project. I would like to thank Alain Deschênes for his considerable involvement in the Group”, comments Jean-Paul Chifflet, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A.

Jean-Paul Mazoyer’s career :

Jean-Paul Mazoyer began his career at Crédit Lyonnais Suisse in 1988, before joining Accenture, where he held a variety of consulting roles with banks between 1989 and 1996, in particular Crédit Agricole. In 1996, he joined the retail marketing department at Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole. In 1998, he became Head of Marketing and Communications at Crédit Agricole Ile-de-France before being appointed Head of Lending and Risk in 2002. Mr Mazoyer joined Calyon in 2004 as Deputy Director of the International Network, in charge of the coordination and management of all support functions. In 2007, he became Head of Support Functions and Development at Crédit Agricole Asset Management (marketing, sales support and international network). Since 2010, Mr Mazoyer has been Chief Operating Officer in charge of Support and Development at Amundi.

Born in 1965, Mr Mazoyer is a graduate of EM Lyon business school (1987).
