A division dedicated to preservation, regeneration and the enhancement of natural capital
Crédit Agricole Capital Naturel is committed to providing long-term support to businesses, investors, and local and industry stakeholders as they address challenges related to the preservation and restoration of natural resources (forest, water, soil, biodiversity, air).
Forests being a strategic asset and driver for preserving biodiversity, combating climate change and regenerating the local economy, the forest sector will be the first active vertical for this new division.
For the forest, Crédit Agricole Capital Naturel will rely on:
- a developer and operator of Nature-based solutions, EcoTree;
- the launch of a new fund dedicated to the restoration of forest ecosystems, “Amundi Arbora Nova”.
Crédit Agricole Natural Capital also integrates Carbioz, the Group's voluntary carbon contribution offer. It enables companies and public authorities to commit locally and take action for climate transition by supporting agricultural and forestry projects certified with the Low Carbon label.
