LCL becomes the first bank network to receive France's Gender Equality Label
Catherine Vautrin, French minister for social integration and equal opportunities, will present the Gender Equality Label to Christian Duvillet, chief executive officer of LCL, on 6 March 2007.
The label is the reward for LCL's efforts and achievements aimed at promoting gender equality in the workplace. Five women sit on LCL's executive management committee, and the company employs around 15,000 women - 59 per cent of its entire workforce.
In recent years, and particularly since executive management and the unions signed the 2003 agreement on gender equality in the workplace, LCL has worked hard to integrate the notion of equality throughout the bank, ...
