Biography
Éric Vial has been President of the Caisse régionale des Savoie since March 2018. Holder of a BTS in agricultural technology and business management, his career is marked by his involvement in the cooperative sector and the local economy, both within Crédit Agricole and as a professional livestock farmer. A former founding president of the Coopérative des éleveurs de Savoie, one of the largest cooperatives in the region, he was a member of the Finance Committee and the Territorial Committee of the Chamber of Agriculture. The production of his company is labelled PDO-PGI, very demanding labels in terms of environmental and health standards.
Éric Vial was elected President of the Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole (FNCA) and SAS Rue La Boétie on December 4, 2025. He was also elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole S.A. as of 1 January 2026.
