Crédit Agricole and Worldline unveil the name of their joint venture CAWL, a new payment brand for merchants in France
CAWL is the name of the brand born out of the strategic partnership between Crédit Agricole and Worldline, which aims to become the French market leader in merchant payment solutions.

CAWL will offer merchants high value-added all-in-one payment solutions that help them efficiently track their business performance, optimise their sales and safeguard against fraud risk, thus positioning their business to grow.

CAWL’s offerings will be underpinned by Worldline’s various technologies and ability to innovate and by Crédit Agricole’s tried and tested knowledge of the French market:
  • E-commerce: a platform with new functionality enabling merchants to offer their customers a streamlined omnichannel buying experience, optimise their conversion rates, track performance, etc.
  • In store: multiple SmartPOS* solutions and next-generation Android payment terminals offering a wide variety of applications.
These offerings will enable merchants to access multi-currency, multi-country, multi-network payment services and alternative payment methods powered by a pan-European acquiring platform and personalised services.
* SmartPOS is a payment acceptance solution that runs on Android touch tablets and electronic payment terminals. It can accept payment methods used in stores: Carte Bleue, Mastercard, American Express, contactless, etc.

World Health

Health is a basic human right but also a major challenge for a fairer and more sustainable future. Given the priorities of opening up access to healthcare for all and transforming the healthcare sector, the latter needs to reinvent itself with the help of the private sector. Crédit Agricole and Amundi are taking the opportunity offered by World Health Day to raise awareness among their customers and suggest that they put their savings to work via two solutions: Amundi Delta Capital Santé and CPR Global Silver Age.
Paris-Roubaix: braving the cobblestones of the “Hell of the North”
The world’s best cyclists were back in northern France last weekend for the legendary Paris-Roubaix cycle race. The men’s and women’s races followed a route that included several sections of cobblestones such as the Trench of Arenberg and the Carrefour de l’Arbre before reaching their final destination, the Roubaix Velodrome.
A key partner of French cycling since 1981, LCL this year partnered with the women’s race for the first time.
