Crédit Agricole announces a partnership to support the digitisation and development of the territories with CibleR
La Fabrique by CA, Crédit Agricole’s start-up studio, Crédit Agricole Aquitaine Expansion and Crédit Agricole La Réunion-Mayotte have announced the acquisition of a minority stake in Bordeaux-based company CibleR which offers communities, tourism players and social and solidarity economy (ESS) companies a digital coupon solution for residents and/or tourists.

These coupons, which offer discounts at local retailers, are based on a chatbot called GenIAL which uses generative artificial intelligence to provide visitors with ideas for days out, leisure activities and local restaurants.

The aim of this partnership is to accelerate the roll-out of the CibleR offering which encourages local relationships and purchases. Already rolled out to several Regional Banks, this solution helps to support and strengthen the local economy by offering a payment solution that targets regional players.

This partnership also illustrates the synergies within the Crédit Agricole Group’s innovation processes: CibleR is a start-up supported by the Village by CA Aquitaine, rolled out by Crédit Agricole La Réunion - Mayotte and accelerated by La Fabrique by CA.
In brief
In brief
Crédit Agricole Group Infrastructure Platform has published its CSR Report for the second consecutive year. 2023 was a year full of responsible commitments, notably including the roll-out of “GreenPact”, an environmental management information system to help reduce the Group’s IT carbon footprint. We also worked to bring CSR issues to life by increasing our focus on diversity, inclusion and solidarity. Click below to see all of the actions undertaken by CA-GIP in 2023.

Nearly half of the total financing (€64 million) will be used at the Belfort plant, where the first production line is expected to be in operation by the end of 2024.

The Crédit Agricole Aquitaine Foundation has launched its second call for projects on the health and well-being of young people, running from 15 April to 30 June 2024. The projects put forward must focus on a medical, social or health diagnosis linked to the physical or mental health of young people in the Regional Bank’s territory. The goal is to prevent and treat these health problems. A budget of €50,000 has been allocated by the foundation.

PODCAST
The latest episode in the Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance podcast series Transformons l’avenir: Regards Croisés covers topics related to the future of consumption in a sustainable society, by way of a conversation between Stéphane Priami, CEO of CA CF, and Enrique Martinez, CEO of Fnac Darty, who discuss questions such as:
“What is consuming better?” and “How can we rethink our methods of consumption, manufacture and financing?”
Doubling the production of remanufactured parts
Vehicle and parts manufacturers are set to double the production of remanufactured parts by 2030. The percentage of reused parts in vehicle repairs is predicted to reach 10%, compared to just under 5% today. The use of recycled and/or biosourced materials is also expected to be widely incorporated in the design of next-generation vehicles. The tightening of environmental regulations, pressures on the supply of raw materials, and the need for cheaper alternatives to new spare parts are the main motivations for sector players adopting the circular economy approach.

Over the past three decades, Agilor has played a key role in agricultural equipment financing. Launched in 1994 by Crédit Agricole, this product range has undergone constant changes, enabling dealerships to offer flexible financing solutions tailored to the needs of farmers.

To celebrate its anniversary in this region, on 9 April, Crédit Agricole Centre-est will welcome more than 100 Agilor dealers and partners to Terralumia, its head office, and more precisely to the Village by CA Centre-est, a place of innovation and creativity.

This full-day event will be an opportunity for learning, talking to other professionals and gaining a new perspective through high-quality conferences.

More events will be held throughout the year, organised by the Regional Banks, to celebrate Agilor’s 30th anniversary with the local agricultural dealerships.
