Crédit Agricole Immobilier wins a call for projects in La Défense
Announced at MIPIM* 2024 in Cannes, Crédit Agricole Immobilier is the winner of the call for urban mixed-use projects with a low carbon footprint for the Demi-Lune site in Puteaux (92), launched by Paris La Défense.

With the goal of building the first low-carbon HRB** in France, the consortium, managed by CA Immobilier and Linkcity, will prioritise the use of bio-sourced and reused materials. In terms of construction, it will have a low-carbon post-beam structure and wooden floors.

Located a stone’s throw from the Grande Arche in La Défense, this 62,000-m2 project will offer a mixture of office spaces, teaching spaces, food outlets, hotel accommodation and studio apartments. On the ground floor, a landscaped hill will replace a road traffic junction. The delivery of this ambitious project is scheduled for 2031.

This project is part of the Crédit Agricole Group’s Societal Project which strives to act in favour of the climate and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, while strengthening its position as a stakeholder in the societal and environmental transition.

Crédit Agricole next bank* has expanded its support for mobility-related issues, by paying “eco-mobility” bonuses to more than half of its employees who use environmentally-friendly transport methods on all or part of their journeys to and from work every day. In addition, staff who use carbon-emitting transport methods were encouraged to calculate the carbon footprint linked to their travel and voluntarily offset 10% of the overall carbon footprint. The remainder was offset by the Bank through the planting of more than 900 trees in Switzerland, in collaboration with the Almightytree organisation.
* A bank under Swiss law, CA next bank can rely on its shareholders: the Centre-est, Savoie, Franche-Comté and Alsace Vosges Regional Banks, and CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA.
