Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies contributes to the financing of 300 solar power plants with a solidarity component
Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies via Unifergie has participated in the financing of a new portfolio of more than 330 photovoltaic plants to be built by Tenergie*, a leading independent producer of renewable energy, supported by the Crédit Agricole Group since 2008. This large-scale €100-million project relates to a varied portfolio of facilities on the ground, on roofs and on canopies.

Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring, LCL and the Centre France Regional Bank provided the funding alongside CIC and BPI.

This transaction, which takes place within the framework of the Fondation Synergie Renouvelable [Renewable Synergy Foundation], has seen a collective donation of €168,000 into its endowment fund. This endowment fund for the European renewable energy sector centralises the funds and skills of companies in the sector to offer financial and technical support to select NGOs carrying out humanitarian projects to improve access to energy all over the world.
* Independent French developer and producer of renewable energy since 2008 with 1,600 photovoltaic plants.

The Domaine du Château Philippe le Hardi wins at the 2024 Wine Tourism Awards
The Domaine du Château Philippe le Hardi is an estate owned by Crédit Agricole, renowned for its remarkable architecture and historical ties to Burgundy wine for the past two thousand years. This symbol of living history where visitors can enjoy tours, tasting sessions and meet and greets with the team has won an award in the “Architecture and landscape” category (Exceptional Offer) at the 2024 Wine Tourism Awards. The awards were presented by the new Cité des vins de Bourgogne in Beaune to 14 winners based on the votes for 100 nominees who themselves were selected from 300 applications.

At a time when people are spending less and the average age of wine drinkers is rising, wine tourism is a way to attract new generations eager for experiences and exchanges, for whom the wine itself may not be the major draw. As such, farms are becoming welcoming spaces as well as areas of production.
