First C4ATech fund investment dedicated to the farming and agrifood transitions
C4ATech, the new capital innovation fund dedicated to the farming and agrifood transitions, managed by Supernova Invest* and funded by the Regional Banks and Crédit Agricole S.A., has carried out its first investment; the acquisition of a stake in Seederal, alongside other investors including Crédit Agricole du Morbihan.

Seederal, a French company supported by the Village by CA Finistère and Crédit Agricole du Finistère, intends to develop a 100% electric tractor with a battery life equivalent to one day’s work (140 horsepower / 10 hours of battery life).

Farming machinery is responsible for 2% of France’s annual greenhouse gas emissions and 3% of its energy consumption. Seederal is positioning itself as a key player in the reduction of these emissions by building electric tractors that cut the carbon footprint by 15 to 20 tonnes per unit per year, equivalent to the annual emissions of 17 cars**.

This first investment since the launch of C4ATech is fully aligned with the commitments of the Societal Project: to support the technical evolution towards a competitive and sustainable agrifood system.
* AMF-approved management company co-owned by the CEA, Amundi and its executive team.
** The average car registered in France travels 12,000 km/year.

Awards for Group campuses
At the national prize-giving ceremony of the CUBE* competition, hosted by the Crédit Agricole Immobilier real estate operations teams and the Crédit Agricole S.A. Societal Engagement Division teams on behalf of the Group, several campus buildings were recognised for their energy saving performance.
The Group climbed the podium for three of its buildings operated by Crédit Agricole Immobilier and was rewarded for its cumulative energy saving performance. The Alpes Provence Regional Bank also won an award.
* CUBE stands for Concours Usages Bâtiments Efficaces (Efficient Building Use Competition) and is a public interest initiative that helps users of commercial and apartment buildings to effectively lower their energy consumption through a competition.
