Altarea Energies Renouvelables and Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies (CA T&E), through its fund Crédit Agricole Énergies & Territoires managed by Amundi Transition Énergétique, announce the signing of a strategic partnership to create a joint structure dedicated to the development and operation of large-scale photovoltaic projects. Ultimately, more than 700 rooftops will be equipped with solar panels, primarily on agricultural infrastructures across France.

International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank Group’s private sector arm, and Crédit Agricole CIB announced a Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) structure covering a $2 billion portfolio. IFC has provided a $95 million financial guarantee for Credit Agricole CIB that will help originate new trade finance commitments for emerging markets over the next years. This innovative structure frees up capital that Crédit Agricole CIB will redeploy in order to achieve this objective.
