Resignation of Mr Dominique Ferrero

René Carron, Chairman of the Board of Crédit Agricole S.A., today informed the Board of Directors that Dominique Ferrero wished to resign his mandates within the Crédit Agricole S.A. group.

The Board of Directors has taken note of and has accepted his resignation. The Board expressed its gratitude for the key role Mr Ferrero has played in the integration between Crédit Agricole and Crédit Lyonnais as well as for his work he at Crédit Lyonnais since 1999, turning the bank around and redeveloping it.
