Crédit Agricole Egypt supports financial inclusion

Crédit Agricole Egypt (CAE) actively participated in the Central Bank of Egypt’s financial inclusion initiative, which aims to give unbanked individuals access to financial services and to streamline the informal economy.
CAE took this opportunity to promote a special account with 0% administration fees and 10% annual interest, in addition to its “My First” offering for young persons, to support its growth strategy and its target segments.
The CAE network teams went to universities where they opened new accounts. The bank was also able to organise, together with the Egyptian Banking Institute, sessions for young French students in Egypt to increase their awareness of the importance of having a bank account.
