Crédit Agricole in Ukraine
Crédit Agricole arrived in Ukraine in 1993 as a solid but small bank that only served corporate customers, mainly international, and a few large, local, corporate customers.
Over these 30 years, the bank grew into a universal bank serving all market segments – from private individuals to large international corporations.

Crédit Agricole Ukraine (CAU)
Joined the Group in 2006 (Index Bank).
Following a profound restructuring, has operated under Crédit Agricole brand since 2011 and merger with CACIB Ukraine.
A universal retail bank with a strong specialization in MNCs and agri-food, a market in which CAU has a strong reputation and expertise.
In the context of the war, the Group is commited to maintain its activites in Ukraine and support the reconstruction of the country. Since the beginning of the war in February 2022, priority has been given to the safety of employees and to adapting and securing the operational model and customer services.

Monitoring and support in the context of the war in Ukraine with priorities:
- Providing core banking services to customers
- Keep the bank operational under the close supervision of the Central Bank of Ukraine (cash, cash withdrawals, etc.)
- Preserving the client portfolio
- Supporting the agrarian sector and carefully selected proximity banking franchise
- Close collaboration with MFIs to support reconstruction
