Getting to know our customers better with Trajectoires Agri
Announced last November, Crédit Agricole’s new advice approach, Trajectoires Agri, is gradually being rolled out across the Regional Banks from 4 April to 16 May 2024.

A pilot has been running at five Regional Banks* since December, enabling nearly 300 advisors and over 1,500 customers to try out this new dialogue tool designed to help advisors better know, understand and guide farming customers.

Supported by Crédit Agricole S.A.’s Agri-Agro department, the Distribution User Hub, Crédit Agricole Technologies et Services and the Regional Banks, Trajectoires Agri has three goals:
  • to provide customers with strategic advice based on a 360-degree view of their farm, including help planning for the future
  • to increase the added value of the Bank’s agricultural advisors and boost customer satisfaction through structured, tracked dialogue
  • to support the transformation of farms and affirm the Bank’s role as a key partner helping customers navigate the transitions they face
The pilot confirmed the benefits of this approach, which is aligned with one of the priorities laid down in the Societal Project: to successfully negotiate the agricultural and agri-food transition.

Trajectoires Agri will be available on the employee portal both in-branch and remotely.

In brief
In brief
Crédit Agricole next bank continues to implement its 1% Donation project which, since 2022, has sought to allocate 1% of its profits, either through donations or sponsorship, to Swiss organisations working towards environmental protection and restoration or supporting people in difficulty. An inclusive in-house process invites staff to put forward projects that will then undergo a rigorous selection process by a CSR committee. In 2023, this project saw CHF 104,000 paid to 10 organisations, notably chosen for the professionalism and relevance of their work.
* A bank under Swiss law, CA next bank can rely on its shareholders: the Centre-est, Savoie, Franche-Comté and Alsace Vosges Regional Banks, and CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA.

As the only financial advisor, Crédit Agricole CIB has supported Edenred, the digital service and payments platform and a world leader in B2B mobility solutions, in its partnership with IP Gruppo api (IP), the privately-owned Italian leader in fuel and mobility solutions, and its acquisition of IP’s “energy cards” business. This partnership will enable Edenred to expand its multi-brand offering and extend its footprint in Italy to become the country’s privately-owned leader in B2B mobility services while supporting the transition of corporate and professional fleets towards electric vehicles.
Gold hits a new peak
The price of the precious metal hit another record high on 4 April, exceeding $2,300 and representing an increase of more than 20% over the past six months. Gold is a safe-haven asset like, for instance, US government bonds and the dollar. However, it does not incur interest so its relative appeal increases when interest rates fall. Current forecasts of rate cuts support the price of gold, which is also driven by central bank purchases, particularly in China, and geopolitical tensions such as those in Ukraine and the Middle East for instance.
