As of 1 June 2010, Hubert Reynier will join, as Deputy Director, the Risk Management Department at Crédit Agricole S.A. Group, reporting to Francis Cantérini.
Hubert Reynier, age 47, is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris, and holds a master's degree in law and a post-graduate diploma in economics. He also studied at the Ecole Nationale d'Administration.
After working at the French Ministry of Finance, he joined BNPP in 1992. He was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Investment Banking Department in New York and then General Manager in charge of Capital Markets and Asset Management in London, and lastly Chief Executive Officer for Belgium and the Netherlands.
He joined the Commission des Opérations de Bourses (COB) in 2000 and became Deputy Secretary General of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) in charge of Regulation and International Affairs in 2004.
Since 2009, Mr Reynier has been Deputy Director of Finance, Strategy and Sustainable Development at Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC).
