Paris, 9 April 2009 - Alessandra Gaudio, 43, was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Gestion Privée Indosuez, a subsidiary of Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez, on 24 March 2009.
After a stint as an investment analyst and fund manager at BNP Paribas from 1990 to 1998, Alessandra Gaudio has since worked entirely for the Crédit Agricole Group. She was first senior equity fund manager with CAAM in Paris (1998-2001) before becoming head of equities and then chief investment officer of CAAM Italy (2001-2006). She was then appointed head of European equity fund management at Nextra, formed from the merger of the asset management activities of Intesa and Crédit Agricole (2006-2007).
Since September 2007, Ms Gaudio has been deputy chief executive officer and CIO at Gestion Privée Indosuez.
Alessandra Gaudio is a member of the French financial analysts' society (SFAF) and holds a PhD in economics from the Catholic University of Milan.
